(NO CRITICISM ALLOWED. I'm not a writer. I'm not a good writer. It's not perfect. It's just a general idea of how my story actually goes. If you would read it without telling me how bad it sucks, I'd appreciate it.)
The Great Urson; a powerful ancient bear, once defeated by the strongest of men, is yet again mentioned in the new prophecies. It is foretold that when Urson finds a soul worthy of his possession, only then will he rise again, much more powerful than before. Nothing will be able to stop his rage until the blood of the innocent rains down from the skies. I fear that the day will come... sooner than we expect. For we are not prepared for this.
"Atlas to Ana. Hello? Are you even listening anymore?" Ana snapped back from her fantasy.
"Yes. Sorry, Vyra. Just... umm... taking in everything you're telling me."
"Very funny. Anyway, back to what I was saying. The ceremony at Imperia. Did Caelon talk to you about it?" Vyra sat in front of Ana, making sure she was still paying attention.
"Yes-... no, actually. Ceremony? Not a pinch." Ana walked to her room, knowing full well that Vyra would follow her either way.
"Well, allow me to inform you of the information you've decided to ignore."
"Ahem. Today is the first day in millions of years that a rose with the Anelyra Crystal woven in the center has been formed." Ana decided to interrupt.
"Wait, wait, wait. Inform me of the whole Anel... uh, crystal thing again."
"Are you stupid or something? The Anelyra Crystal? Most powerful crystal to be bound together by the forces of Ms. Wonderful-Nature? Oh, come on! You knew that!" Ana laughed.
"I just wanted to see how mad you would get."
"That's not funny. Anyways! You're missing the importance of this situation, Ana! PAY ATTENTION!"
"Okay, okay." Ana decided to put her work armor on as Vyra was talking."
"Okay... this rose was tested. They take so many roses just to put a cube of glass over the soil, and if the rose breaks through, it means that the Anelyra Crystal is inside. And after millions of years, they actually found one. The first Anelyra Crystal in over 19 million years. First Lieutenant Vandaiya is going to be presenting it. And guess what?"
Ana was actually interested in what Vyra was saying. "Vandaiya? Well, what?"
"He's going to be appearing in his Tribal Stone armor."
"What's that supposed to mean? Is he an Indian?"
"Indians are humans, silly. No, it's just a type of tough stone armor that a lot of other people can't even lift, let alone wear. I'm sure he'll look handsome. Oh, and he won't have his helmet on, either."
"You mean Mr. Mysterious won't be hiding his face for once?"
"Yep. And thousands of people are going to see his face for the first time today."
"TODAY?! That's today?!" Ana hurried her dressing and went into her bathroom.
"What's your deal? I told you that already."
"Yeah, but I was finally paying attention to you! I can't look like crap going to work, let alone going to Imperia, to a ceremony!"
"Ana. Your hair is perfect every single day. The leaves hold it up perfectly; don't worry! Besides, you don't have to wear make-up to look beautiful. Well, you don't... anyway. But... you know what I mean. The ceremony isn't for a while, so simmer down. Cool off. Shove your face. Do what you gotta do, it's in... hmm... about 3 hours."
"Okay... okay." Ana plopped down on her sofa.
"One more thing I forgot to mention! Vandaiya's presenting it for a reason. Because General Caelon knows that Vandaiya is his best war hero. Gotta be an honor for the people living in the Imperial Drought to see their best hero giving them hope."
"He's going to place the crystal on a pillar in the center of the city. There are large cracks connecting to that pillar, so it's the perfect place to put it."
"What's it going to do for them?"
"Give them water... the crystal can do whatever the wielder wishes. And he'll be wishing the city to have water. The water will multiply and fall into the cracks of the city. The Imperial Drought will be no more... then they won't have to leave their homes..."
"I'm... actually honored to have been invited to go to this ceremony. I just wish I would've been told what it was for sooner. Thank you, Vyra. Let's get there early and set up, shall we?"
"Sure thing. Can't wait to see how hot this guys gotta be."
"What? Oh, come on. I know you're itching to see that dead sexy face of his."
"We don't know yet, keep it cool."
"Well, I know. But rumor has it that he's a hottie. Can't just pass that on like it's not true."
"Oh, shush. Just come on."
Ana folded the picture of her parents down on the table. She did wonder what he looked like, but wondered more if what the crystal is said to do... would actually happen.
